چکیده
In this work, we present a model based on the finite element approach to describe electrochemically controlled release of ions from redox-active film into sample confined thin-layer spatial domain. The includes effect interfacial charge transfer kinetics and 1D-diffusion treatment for an electron transfer-ion (ET–IT) coupled reaction. More in detail, oxidation (ET) involves ion aqueous phase (IT). dynamic concentration released is calculated when ET–IT reaction proceeds under potentiostatic control, thickness each (i.e., or aqueous) diffusion profile analyzed. experimentally validated particular case which thin polyaniline (PANI, 10 μm thickness) linked protons electrolyte solution. proton produces certain pH changes that are monitored by sensor located at 330 PANI film. associated with related through pH-coulograms agree theoretical predictions. Overall, can reproduce general behavior experimental pump provides key insights functioning mechanism electrochemical systems where redox reactions coupled.

Electrochemical Characterization of Low-Cost Lithium-Iron Orthosilicate Samples as Cathode Materials of Lithium-Ion Battery
Lithium-iron-orthosilicate is one of the most promising cathode materials for Li-ion batteries due to its safety, environmental brightness and potentially low cost. In order to produce a low cost cathode material, Li2FeSiO4/C samples are synthesized via sol-gel (SG; one sample) and solid state (SS; two samples with different carbon content), starting from Fe (III) in the raw materials (lo...
متن کاملImpact of Gravity on Thin-layer Cell Electrochemical Deposition
Electrochemical deposition (ECD) in thin cells with different orientations relative to gravity leads to complex stable and unstable physicochemical hydrodynamic flows. Here we study the impact of gravity on these flows through a theoretical macroscopic 3D model and its numerical simulation. The model describes the diffusive, migratory, and convective motion of ions in a fluid subject to an elec...

The deoiled rice bran, industrial waste (paddy husk, potato peels and banana peels) and plasticizers were added to develop pellets after extrusion for their further use in preparing molds (pots) for horticultural use. Pellets were prepared by extrusion technology using glycerol and cashew nut shell liquid as plasticizers and were dried in a chamber with constant air circulation (1.5 m/sec). Dry...
متن کاملModelling of olive cake thin-layer drying process
Olive cake is a sub-product of the mechanical olive oil extraction industry, which consists of pit and pulp of the olive fruit, olive oil and vegetable water. It has been using for direct combustion in bakeries and olive oil mills due to its energy content. However, the initial moisture content of olive cake is approximately 44.78% ± 0.5 (wet basis), and this has to be reduced to about 5% to re...
